Not every student needs an expert’s advice on a given situation. If the student is well-read in a particular subject (for eg. Marketing/ Finance/ Human Resources), he will not really need to seek an expert’s insight. However, it is advisable to consider for an experienced individual’s perspective as it may only help make your dissertation better. You will need the expert’s vision on the following:
- Is the proposed research problem justified?
- Is there an already-existing viable solution to the perceived issue? Is it flawless or imperfect?
- Why hasn’t the situation been addressed before?
- What kind of a resolution are they seeking to the problem?
- How will your study be beneficial for researchers?
